很多爸爸認為，照顧小朋友是屬於太太們的工作，所以一講到要換尿片、餵奶、同小朋友看書、跟進功課等等，他們會自然交托予媽媽。有部分甚至會覺得：「我的責任就是上班賺錢，讓太太子女生活好，至於學非洲鼓或朗誦等，就交予太太處理啦！」
但各位爸爸有否想過，原來你們照顧小朋友的參與度，對他們的性格、語言能力、甚至將來的學業成績，都有直接影響。父親的重要性，對仔女的成長發展，其實不遜於媽媽。
